The Gambia now has a total of 131 Covid related deaths, after recording 3 new deaths recently, according to the 258th national situation report released this morning.

The deceased are all males, aged 65, 68, and 78, respectively.

Similarly, forty-nine (49) new positive cases have also been registered; with 202 active cases, 11 patients newly discharged, and 32 people currently quarantined.

The small West African nation with a population of little over 2 million, announced its first case in March 2020. And currently, its total confirmed cases rose to 4, 139; of which 3, 803 recovered.
